Microscope Workshop
Next Course - proposed date Sunday June 29th
Venue - Wincanton Laboratory, Alfred's Way, Wincanton, Somerset BA9 9RU
Cost - £40 per person and a maximum of 8 people per course (at least 6 people for the course to run)
AIMS
At the end of the workshop you should be able to:-
- Maintain your microscope
- Be able to recognise some of the common causes of disease
- Use some stains to enable better recognition of micro organisms
- To institute the appropriate control measures
You will require:-
- Your microscope
- 2 lots of faeces samples
- 2 to 4 pigeons
- Pen and pencil
- Packed lunch
- You will be provided with a work book to keep
